Usually i plan what I wanna write about but this one's really random. Flowers. First of all, im named after a flower. My dad loved gardening. When my parents were looking for a name for me, they went through a book from A to Z and they still couldnt find one. My mom wanted Malay names; Nadira  My dad wanted Persian names. So then they decided to go through the book once again and start from the Z to A. On their way through Y, they found my name. To make it fair, Nurul is my malay name, Yasameen is both malay and persian name but with persian spelling. On Aidiladha, we were expecting close families to come over since we were hosting for this year's raya (having it at our house). However, we got shocking news that my granduncle fell and was in the ICU. We spent the day at the hospital and actually met many relatives there. I've been in many haunted houses like at Sunway Lagoon, Melaka Alligator Park, St John's Carnival and at Times Square. Scared to death in some of them but never ever imagined myself being a ghost in a haunted house. haha The thought even sounds funny:P Ok so when UN  Club in my college planned this Halloween Carnival, they were going to have a haunted house and of course they needed ghosts......~ Before the Halloween Carnival They planned it pretty early ahead about early September and I was assigned at an arm wrestling station. Obviously that doesn't suit me haha. So when they put me at the haunted house, I thought I'd just help out here and there with deco perhaps. We discussed about the plan and layout of the haunted house. I came up with the idea of a projector with a creepy video on when people passed. They are forced to watch it cuz they surrounded by ghosts. They had the exact thing at Sunway Lagoon's Haunted House last year. So, until the last week of Oc

Dear all, this year JIM is having ibadah korban at Palestin. For a portion of cow: RM300 Goat: RM500. When Walt Disney produced the Prince of Persia movie, I felt pretty proud and honoured cuz Disney actually acknowledged my father's country, Persia. Persia also known as Iran is one of the first empires in this world and has existed longer than many other countires. A long time ago, people of Persia worshipped fire but now, people are more civilised and most of people in Persia are Muslims and some are Christian. The people from Persia have Middle-eastern or Eurasian features  like brown   hair and green eyes just like my cousin who looks like Ron Weasley in Harry Potter. haha People tell me that many beauty queens originate from here ( of course I am not pretty like them ^^) and also nearby countries. Angry Birds' items are like hotstuff nowadays. Even my little, 5-year-old brother has an Angry Bird game where he can fling the birds for real to the green piggies and I play too. He bought 4 angry birds to hang in the car. Green and Yellow for my car. Blue and red for my mum's car. Last week, I came home from college and my mum bought these bedroom slippers for me. I wear bedroom slippers like ALL the time in my house. Previously, I had GREEN FROG , MR BEAN'S TEDDY and PINK PRINCESS . omg the slippers are so cute cuz its like a stuffed animal on your feet + comfy too. I have a tendency to always make myself feel comfortable. I study with a flat pillow on my feet, I used to bring a pillow to school for my back and I sleep with 4 pillows,including a 'bantal peluk'...hehe. Last week was one of the best weeks ever! My friend's bday on Wed, went to KLCC for my auntie's bday. Her bday is actually today. Oh and did a lot of hw and a little revision-the satisfaction of finishing your work and cancelling it out from your to-do-list. hehe Had a chem test last Thursday and I want to know the results soon... 0.0 Have been feeling little down last 2 weeks and the week before but this week was absolutely great. oh and weird thing, got my period right after that. Hate it when that happens wonder when this pms thing will be over. Currently, May is doing her A Levels under JPA sponsorship. She obtained Biasiswa Nasional 2010 which is awarded to top students in MALAYSIA. This is our Malaysian Studies Video. The video was in a really big file and it was a real hassle to resize it. Finally I just downloaded a Video Convertor and converted it to mp4 version. The video size was originally 600mB and reduced to 21mB. This is our presentation last Thursday. I am so relieved its over-everyone asked me to do the presentation because I was the leader XP We did the whole shooting in one day on 16 August and the communist scene we did on another day ( the splashing water part). Special thanks to Visa for editing and adding the awesome sound effects and music:D Promoting Visalakshi Productions hehe. I really enjoyed the whole shooting and and grouping with them. Its over and Malaysian Studies will be over in 4 weeks and I definitely loved the moments. Just like I said during presentation, sit back, relax and enjoy the video!!

Hey... *sigh This is one of the busiest weeks ever and so many things happened.  I am exhausted like seriously. We had our Malaysian Studies presentation and that was totally wonderful although nerve-wrecking preparing for it. I have not been on stage for more than a year. I mean Ive been on stage lately just for prizes and award ceremonies but not to speak in front of an audience. I think the last time I was on stage was last year IU Day but that was for the fashion show. Hmm wait aha! I was the emcee for Teacher's Day then I had public speaking in assembly around mid-year. Hi guys! For those who don't  know me, I just completed my SPM in 2010 and recently started college. Last week I promised to post on SPM Tips and I know some of you have been waiting. I'm terribly sorry for the delay. PMR is in 8 days and SPM is in a month. I still remember the feeling weeks before SPM. I would NOT look a the countdown if possible because it makes me nervous. I just basically know how many weeks left and just focus on what else I need to do before the big day instead of making myself all worried. For my trials, I got 8A's 1B ( B for Physics) so I was asking myself: " Can I get straight A's or not?" With the new system of A+ A and A- which was implemented 2 years ago, it makes the whole thing a lot more stressful I agreed. But! That is not a reason to not excel. It should be a motivator to strive harder. Yes, nothing is easy in life. Even now, I'm doing my A Levels and I am not going to say it is easy because that's not true. Everywhere

This video was actually shared by a college friend of mine. When he sent me this link, I thought it was some normal videos guys usually watch but this one really hit me. It is NOT true. Nice guys do not finish last. My friend also told me that girls want cool guys so that they can show off to their friends. Hearing this from a guy, I'm like wow....they do think a lot too. Being a nice guy doesnt mean you'r nerdy or what. To me, just be yourself and original and you'll meet the person who will love you for who you are and not who you "try" to be. If you try to be someone you're not, one day your true self will reveal and when your fake lover finds out, he/she will dump you. Do what you think is right. People who regularly use public transports look so calm and cool when they walk from one place to another. When irregular users like me attempt, oops... and here's how the story goes... And so to get to my place its a bus and an lrt exchange. My first worry was getting the right bus. I kept on repeating the right number on my mind. 123 123 In the bus, how was i to know people now use Touch n Go, so I got out my purse to pay and he said: No cash. Cards only. Im using a white laptop. Laptops get easily dirty so imagine white ones. Got this one for my PMR Basically all my gadgets are white; handphone, laptop and even my car. I like the colour compared to black. Black seems very work-like and professional guyish/ working lady kinda thing. White seems more teenager/fun and girlish  in my opinion. Black is beautiful too. It would be my second choice. Ok let me get to the point. A few minutes or wait hours maybe, I turned on my laptop and my sister returned the transparent keypad cover. I MUST use that or else the keypads will turn yellow. When my sister returned them, I saw a perfectly beautiful cover, not the yellowish one I never bothered to clean. Emm actually I'm not very sure how to clean it to be exact. Well guess what? She cleaned with with NAIL POLISH REMOVER. What a beautiful Sunday afternoon... Sundays seem very peaceful and sunny to me for some reason. Maybe its rubbing into our face that tomorrow will be the beginning of classes/ work.
