Hari Raya At Melaka Part 2

What a beautiful Sunday afternoon... Sundays seem very peaceful and sunny to me for some reason. Maybe its rubbing into our face that tomorrow will be the beginning of classes/ work. Haha


Ok so I came back to KL on Friday. My grandparents came along with us and sleptover at our place for the night. When we reached KL, we stopped by Cozy House, Great Eastern Mall to have lunch.Aderina was there too with her family.I went there last Friday to berbuka with my friends:D and again the following Friday. I hoped the waiters don't remember me..we were unconveniently loud to them..no intentions sorry:P  Ok so that night I went to Sate Station near my house for dinner with my grandparents. My brother opened his birthday presents the remaining birthday presents ( the big ones we couldnt bring to Melaka) at night and he asked me to play Tumbling Monkeys with him. OMG IT WAS SO FUNN<3  The next morning, I woke up to the smell of French toast and baked beans with cheese-filled hotdogs. My grandma and mommy are such  great cooks. Then in the afternoon my mum and grandma made Laksa Penang and invited my cousins over for lunch. They went to 3 different places to get the ingredients. Then today, Mirul (my cousin fro St John) belanja breakfast at Kayu. Met Atiqah, my friend at Bukit Indah and also my student's cousin. So I just came back from Kayu and one of my cousins (baby Erfan's age) is here too. 


Back to Raya story, one of my cousins Mizi ( aka Thunder Sky on fb) had his birthday on the same day as Raya. Cool:D This year Tok Cik, Tok Su, Pak Ngah Aman and Pak Su Asri had open houses. They all live in Melaka. On 3rd day of Raya I went to watch Smurfs with my cousins and met Aniq. His village is also near my place. When I met one of my grandaunts, she actually asked me "Who's this?" and I said its me " Shamin" (my name among family members because my kindergarten teacher Ms Ward thought my name was very long so my mom came up with that name so all family members call me by that name. Some even had trouble finding me on fb cuz they didnt know that was not my real name)  She said she couldnt recognize me with the new look. Ok I guess I hadnt had a fringe for more than 8 years but do I look that different? 0.0 hmmm... My grandma says I look Chinese and Tok Cik told my mum I look gothic... ( he said black metal to be exact but then he said 'I mean the people all black wan?) No wearing all black, fringe down, no eyeliner. Lesson learnt. Haha 


Ok so tomorrow classes starting. I still have my holiday mood.....=.= Well to everyone, have a nice week ahead and remember to wake up early for work/school/college. Enjoy your week!!

Science is challenging in general but taking up ALL the science subjects is a real challenge indeed! Incredible Somebody asked me : How do you study the sciences? Different people have different abililities. Some people are the reading type so they do good in Biology, some are good in imagination and application so they excel in Physics. The approach to Physics, Chemistry and Biology are completely different so how do you manage to study all 3 effectively? Ok to be honest I would say that Physics was giving me a lot of hassle during my SPM days. I even took extra classes near my house once a week from Mr Jesu, a St John teacher so that I could improve my Physics. I got a B for Physics during Trial Exam and that really challenged me as I was aiming for A+. I was asking myself "Was it really possible to get an A+ in a subject so hard when it was difficult to even get an A?" Last Minute Add Math Tips For SPM

Hello there SPM Candidates 2012 ! SPM is really near and yes you are bound to feel some stress, hear and pressure but its alright, you're normal. There is something to worry about if you do not feel anything at all. I felt the same too and very nervous before each paper but remember your prayers, drink 'air zamzam' it makes you feel very calm, watch what you eat ( minimise fast food for a little while and no junk food bad for the brain) and remember to exercise. It releases the tension on those muscles. I remember how long essay papers made our back and shoulders hurt like mad. Now let's speak of Add Math. I do not want to give you any heavy list of things to do because exams are very near so I will just let you know how you can make the best preparation for your upcoming SPM Add Math paper, alright? 1. How To Clean White Laptop

Im using a white laptop. Laptops get easily dirty so imagine white ones. Got this one for my PMR Basically all my gadgets are white; handphone, laptop and even my car. I like the colour compared to black. Black seems very work-like and professional guyish/ working lady kinda thing. White seems more teenager/fun and girlish  in my opinion. Black is beautiful too. It would be my second choice. Ok let me get to the point. A few minutes or wait hours maybe, I turned on my laptop and my sister returned the transparent keypad cover. I MUST use that or else the keypads will turn yellow. When my sister returned them, I saw a perfectly beautiful cover, not the yellowish one I never bothered to clean. Emm actually I'm not very sure how to clean it to be exact. Well guess what? She cleaned with with NAIL POLISH REMOVER. Family Vacation in Kota Kinabalu

Hello there everyone! Its almost the end of August and little did I know that I would be writing about my holiday of the year! And yes I have voted this vacation to be one of the top best places I've been to. It was planned in August and the flight and hotel was confirmed a week before we went there. Sometimes best things happen unplanned, as organised as I try to be, I actually enjoy fun unplanned things sometimes, especially since I'm free. My SPM Results

That morning i woke up and started to do everything slowly so that i will reach school late to get my results. I made excuses and told my mum to settle all her stuff first before going to my school to get the results. Finally when the clock showed 10 am, my mum said no we have to go to school now:) i was like oh my!!... butterflies were in my stomach and i felt my insides so hot and my heart was pounding and my palms were kinda sweaty. i wasnt this nervous yesterday but now that we're right in front of the school, i started to feel the heat and tension. =^.^= Ok so i entered and straight headed to the toilet. The moment i stepped in memories flashed in my mind cuz so many things happened last yearin this very toilet. I remember making frequent visits with Vinosha and i remember Raihan trimming my hair so that it will look nicer. I remember looking in the mirror and taking pictures.
