I'm the type who records every occurrences of my life in a single daily planner. Some years I get a thin one, some years I get a thick one and sometimes medium. As long as its a planner it will definitely do for me. I like those planners where they have 30 boxes in one page so I can see clearly what happened throughout 1 month. I like to see the big picture rather that 1 page at a time. Ok back to my story. In high school you practically see dozens of people with metal on their teeth but in elementary school, its rare. Maybe in some countries its normal but not in my case. I was 11 years old at that time and my sister was 10. June 2004-fresh in my mind. I wore my very first braces and so did my sister. At that time all my baby teeth have came out but not for my sister. Her teeth were in more serious need of braces compared to mine. Mine was a little crooked at the bottom and slightly to the front on the top. Braces was not a necessity but my dad insisted and he would always say : " When you smile the first thing people see is your teeth. You need to make it straight and nice." It would go something like that. So I played along and enjoyed the 2 years with braces. It was painful but the best part was changing the colors every month. The small kids at my elementary school would stop and ask " Why is there metal on your teeth?" or they just stare at it. No one else was we

Today my brother came back from school and showed me his homework. He had Math and English homework. When he opened his English book, the sentence of the week was - An egg in a keg- I saw that and then he told me " Kak Min. Can you draw the picture for me?" I was like - What in the world was "keg"? I guess this is the first time I don't know the meaning of a word in a Kindergarten book. I was super curious and ran upstairs quickly to check out the meaning. Keg: A round wooden or metal container with a flat top and bottom, keg beer = used for storing beer Then I went back downstairs and drew it for him. PS: Kids nowadays,,,they are more advanced and I won't be surprised if they start learning Biology or Chemistry in Elementary school. Ok maybe I will be a..bit surprised =)

I feel like its been awhile since I wrote here. I know some have came here a few times seeing no updated stories but I'll make it up today with a couple of posts:) Lately, I have been very very - i do not want to use the word busy so the best word is- occupied. Its the school holidays which means my younger sister which is just 1 year apart from me is off from school and we plan some activities and outings together. When talking bout my sister, she is not only a sister but the small age gap makes her more like a friend, a best friend. Now that, we're getting older she's getting taller than me which makes it seem like she is my big sister. Since small, we do everything together: play, eat, sleep, school and even bathe together. (that's my definition of everything) Now of course we don't do all of those stuff but I can like tell her anything and everything and she'll understand what I feel without me saying it. Hey guys! How are you doing? Hope everyone is doing great:D Last Saturday, 4/6/2011 I was off from work because of the mid-term holidays. The previous Saturday, my friend from ISKL gave me a call when I was on the way to work. She told me that her finals are over and that we can meet up anytime soon. Weee~:) So, last week messaged her and we planned to meet up that Saturday that I was off from work. Since January, this is the FIRST I repeat , the first Saturday that I do not have a class. So we went over to her house. Its not like this is my first time but I haven't been there for awhile. Last time I went there was before getting my SPM results (March 2011). Ok I shouldn't say I went to her house. Its more like I went to her mansion or mini castle. hahaha. Her house is super huge. There's a swimming pool in the front and a park in her compound.
