Silkygirl OMG Powder Matte Lipstick Review

Happy Saturday! I am in a good mood, had a fabulous morning on a hill watching the lunar eclipse with my GEO friends. Now listening to 'High Hopes' and chilling in my room with my diffuser that has a few drops of lavender oil.
Today I am going to share with you this new lipstick that I am wearing now. OMG OMG OMG I was so excited when I bought it. It even writes 'OMG' outside the lipstick cover. I could not stop looking at it, opening it and then closing it again. I showed it to my bestie at work the first thing when I saw her that Monday after I bought it. I took pictures of me wearing it. Oh dear, makeup can be addictive.
When I went to Watson, I was looking for a lipstick that looked nude sort-of but had a pink tinge. Hard for me to describe but then I found this Mocha powder matte lipstick and it was the perfect one! It was pretty cheap as well, around RM20. Things do not have to be expensive to be good and not everything cheap is bad. I feel more convinced if I am buying products from a pharmacy for example. I try and mix and match and have a balance.
Here is a photo of me wearing the lipstick, love it! I have got mocha lipstick haha, sounds funny. I do not really drink coffee but if I do, I would go for mocha.
I mostly like this because it is fragrant free, the case is so cool! It is cased in a click-to-open casing which is so unique :) I kept clicking it even after wearing lipstick. Literally obsessed the first 3 days of owning this. They have other colours like Rosewood, Maroon, Mulberry and Blossom. I was considering Maroon but felt it was too dark for me and would my skin look pale. Mulberry seemed too light, I was looking for something on the boundary of bold to natural. My favourite is Mocha! I might try the others, we'll see. I like to finish one first before trying another but now I have 3 lipsticks opened ;)
Something I would comment about this matte powder lipstick that I do not like that much is that it feels quite dry. It looks great but it makes my lips feel dry. Maybe because I am used to wearing more moist-feeling lipstick. People online are saying it feels moist but not for me. If I was someone who likes my lip texture to be like not wearing any lipstick but actually I am, then this is perfect. When I am wearing this lipstick without any vaseline, sometimes I forget if I am wearing lisptick or not because it feels light like I am not wearing any. I like to feel my lips moist so I always have to apply vaseline or my Nivea lip balm before applying this lipstick. It dries well and definitely, is a powder matter. I like how it dries, looks so natural. It is like my lips were originally that colour ;) Anyhow, I would highly recommend it.
