Most of us with frizzy or curly hair will bow down to the person who created the rebonding hair treatment. I was born with naturally straight hair, then sometime in my life my hair turned frizzy. Rebonding your hair is the number 1 cause of hair damage. Its negative effects are superior to ALL the other hair treatments and considered the worst thing you could do to your hair- of course the last resort if you have no other way of keeping you hair the way you want it to be. From personal experience, I have rebonded my hair almost every year from the age of 12 which means approximately 6-7 times. I like the way my hair returns to its original look after rebonding. Another reason why I do it so often is because my mom will never stop the cliched question- "When are you going to do your hair again?" whenever the curls return. The last time i went to the salon I begged my hairstylist " Can I please do hair relaxing or any other option??" but she said that my hair was n...
Science is challenging in general but taking up ALL the science subjects is a real challenge indeed! Incredible Somebody asked me : How do you study the sciences? Different people have different abililities. Some people are the reading type so they do good in Biology, some are good in imagination and application so they excel in Physics. The approach to Physics, Chemistry and Biology are completely different so how do you manage to study all 3 effectively? Ok to be honest I would say that Physics was giving me a lot of hassle during my SPM days. I even took extra classes near my house once a week from Mr Jesu, a St John teacher so that I could improve my Physics. I got a B for Physics during Trial Exam and that really challenged me as I was aiming for A+. I was asking myself "Was it really possible to get an A+ in a subject so hard when it was difficult to even get an A?" Well the grade boundaries in my school was quite high so that says it all ; 95 above was an A...
Hello there SPM Candidates 2012 ! SPM is really near and yes you are bound to feel some stress, hear and pressure but its alright, you're normal. There is something to worry about if you do not feel anything at all. I felt the same too and very nervous before each paper but remember your prayers, drink 'air zamzam' it makes you feel very calm, watch what you eat ( minimise fast food for a little while and no junk food bad for the brain) and remember to exercise. It releases the tension on those muscles. I remember how long essay papers made our back and shoulders hurt like mad. Now let's speak of Add Math. I do not want to give you any heavy list of things to do because exams are very near so I will just let you know how you can make the best preparation for your upcoming SPM Add Math paper, alright? 1. Go through all the list of formulas. Write them down on a piece of paper. Try your best to memorise ALL (if possible) as it is wasting time flipping to the back to check...
That morning i woke up and started to do everything slowly so that i will reach school late to get my results. I made excuses and told my mum to settle all her stuff first before going to my school to get the results. Finally when the clock showed 10 am, my mum said no we have to go to school now:) i was like oh my!!... butterflies were in my stomach and i felt my insides so hot and my heart was pounding and my palms were kinda sweaty. i wasnt this nervous yesterday but now that we're right in front of the school, i started to feel the heat and tension. =^.^= Ok so i entered and straight headed to the toilet. The moment i stepped in memories flashed in my mind cuz so many things happened last yearin this very toilet. I remember making frequent visits with Vinosha and i remember Raihan trimming my hair so that it will look nicer. I remember looking in the mirror and taking pictures. Hm...never thought a toilet will bring back so many memories. Ok so next i headed ...
Last weekend, I went to the TGV Indulge Cinema at Sunway Velocity. It was my first time and I did not even hear about it before this. From what I know, there is one in One Utama as well. So, only two places in Kuala Lumpur. TGV Indulge is different from the normal cinemas because you get an exclusive cinema with reclining chairs like those big massage chairs that you can press to go down or up. There is also a comforter blanket! My favourite because I do not like the cold so it was nice and warm watching at the cinema with my wooly comforter they provided. Another special feature of this Indulge TGV is that they have a personalised call-waiter service (omg) and you can order food and drinks while sitting down watching the movie. We came earlier so we could order some food and drinks before the movie started. I just ordered hot honey lemon tea which was RM11 (quite expensive) while he ordered spicy fried chicken and hot chocolate, yumms. You can order like rice and main meals t...
Dear all, Hope everyone is doing great :) I have had an exhausting yet rewarding weekend. My mummy cat is in the hospital and her darling 4 little kittens are at home. The mum had a pretty bad injury, not exactly sure how it happened, nevertheless, the most important thing is that she is healing. She misses her kids so much. Apparently, my clothes had the smell of her kittens and she got very clingy and meowed so loud when she saw me this morning. Unfortunately, she was so upset when I had to leave that she scratched me for returning her back to the quarantine cage, she tried her best to resist. Oh dear, feel so sad seeing her miss her babies but I have to do what's best for her & do the best to take care of the kids when she is away. I have been visiting her daily since she was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. Poor baby. So, I officially call this cat/work weekend. I have literally been to the vet & 4 different pet shops. Since the babies are not yet fully weaned o...
