How Plain Guys Get Pretty Girls

Ever liked a pretty girl and felt that she would never want you as her boyfriend? Ever liked a cool and popular chic and thought that she would never pay attention or even realise your existence?  Hmm, I have to say that you may be wrong.  

Sometimes when you walk in a shopping mall, you realise the couples walking around. The girl can be smoking hot and the guy looks ok- no comment.  In the mind of girls, they can love someone even he is ugly or plain as long as he cares and loves her with all his heart, responsible, understanding and a good listener. 

When a girl looks for a  boyfriend a.k.a. future husband , here’s what she looks for:  ( take note that appearance is not number 1)

1. Accepts her for who and how she is and shows deep interest in wanting her

2. Responsible financially $$$

3. Good-looking   *.*

4. Educated   A.A

5. Good family background 

6. Faithful in God

But most of the times, the guy does NOT fullfill criterias number 2 to 5  but she still accepts him.  

Today I watched Geisha Melayu Terakhir and Scha Al-Yahya was the main actress of the story. She acted so well. Usually when I see her on TV she's always cheerful and funny but this time she played the role of a strong-hearted girl who lived under the Japan colonisers very well.

Speaking of this topic, I would like to relate my blog topic and their recent wedding last 6 May 2012. Scha and Awal finally got married after 3 years of love and friendship.

~Their love story~

In 2007 Scha joined a competition, Dewi Remaja and Awal was the host. He was fascinated by her beauty and personality the first time he saw her. She acted cool and didn't pose too much like the other girls. After an incident, he got her phone number but she was cold arrogant at first and only replied with short messages. After he investigated, he found out that she was in a relationship......

He knew he had no chance and she was no match for him :'(

When Awal was offered to be on the cover page of  magazine, he was given the chance to choose any female entertainer as his partner and he chose Scha.

At the end of 2008, they were both involved in a movie: Syurga Cinta dan Histeria, Although she was not very friendly, they started messaging each other more often. In 2009, Festival Filem Malaysia gave a chance to Scha and Awal to meet again. Finally in 2010, they were the host of Sehati Berdansa. This time, Scha was single and they started to get very close. She told him her problems and they shared deep stories.

At last, they got together at the end of 2010 :) His dreams finally came true....

Few Words From Scha: 

 I knew he was interested in me during the Dewi Remaja Comp but i pretended like I didn't notice. He has tried so hard and that is what makes me love and appreciate him very much.- 3 years!! Before we finally became lovers- He waited for me patiently and that shows how much he loves me...

I just finished watching Schawal on Astro Ria a couple of minutes ago and Awal mentioned that while they were dating he sent desserts for Scha every night after he finished work. It seems like a fairytale come true for Scha.... *love is in the air*

Today, they are husband and wife, recently wedded on 4th May 2012. Scha, 10 years older than me, 29 and Awal, 31 seem like a perfect couple. They are now on a honeymoon in New York. Here are some wedding photos:

So back to the original question on how Plain Guys Get Pretty Girls- its just a matter of effort, sincerity and time.

•  If you really love a girl, show that you do because girls don't work well with sign languages. 
• Don't be too shy because girls are more shy when you act like that. 
• Be who you are and don't criticise her too much. You don't like her, leave her alone. 
• Once you make her love you, be serious and don't take it for granted.
•  Don't be too greedy and look for other girls . She won't want you a second time!!! 
• Don't force her to do anything with you- it shows you're impatient and just in love with her looks...
• Do special things for her.
• Let her know you are proud to have her as your companion.
• Get to know her family, meet her mother ^^
• Try something different- make her say " No guy has ever done this for me or made me feel this way."
• Surprise her!
• Talk to her about her problems- this is the best beginning...
• Be a man- pay the bills, be the one to ask her out, pick her up (do what you can)
• Make yourself presentable and learn to understand each other.
• Don't get mad at her easily, it shows how much you love her.

Maybe at first it may be hard to get a pretty girl but once she loves you, she's all yours :) So it doesn't hurt to work hard a little at first.  Love is beautiful so make the best of it <3
