Weak Antibodies
If you don't know you have weak antibodies and suddenly encounter your first terrible fever, it must definitely be an extreme shock. As for me, I am aware that the unusual effects of fever on my body is the result of weak antibodies, sad to say. When I have a fever, it feels like I'm in a different world and different surroundings. I stop doing things that I do on a daily basis like washing my face, exercise, cook lunch or I don't know. Sometimes I'm like half aware and half in dreamland.
Well, today I feel slightly better except for the coughs that haunt me at night. For people with weak antibodies, you have to consume a lot of Vitamin C ( even though you eat a lot of fruits and veggies) and be extra careful of your health because its not easy to recover when you get sick. I'm not saying this out of self-pity but its a fact and I learn how to deal with it. - though it is hard on the days that your temperature rises- =.= My mother came to my room in the middle of the night and said, " If it weren't for your cough right now, I might have spent the night downstairs. She was watching TV and fell asleep and awoken by the sound of my loud coughs that I did not even realise. My maid brought Breacol ( an effective cough medicine) and I slept peacefully after that.
Yesterday I made my second visit to the doctor and he said " I am giving you the strongest antibiotic possible. If you are not well, I have to send you to a specialist in a hospital." I was like -Hahaha. I'll recover soon. InsyaAllah.- its normal for me to go to the doctor, finish all my medicine and still sick or maybe worse. I'll have to make a second or third visit . The longest I've been sick was for 4 weeks and that was last year around my SPM Trial. As much as I hate, cough lozenges and those sucking pills ( Dequadin)- i prefer the ones I can swallow straight away- I just seem to take it although I always give all the reasons int he world to not take any of those. Well, for people who are new to all this, its pretty normal and usually I recover and return to normal after a few weeks ofsexy voice- having swollen tonsils will result in your voice being affected too-and packets of tissue.
For now, I've just gotten my brand new dose of strong antibiotic which I just got yesterday. Not completely well yet but better than Thursday when all i could do was eat porridge, medicine and sleep. At least now I can go on my blog and write a bit. Yaay! Yesterday was the last day for flu pills so I wont have to be forced to sleep anymore. Haha. Well I'll write more as soon as I feel better.
PS: A special thanks to Brenda who loves my blog and encouraged me to write more. I love you too<3
