Reflection on Vivy Yusof Backlash

Dear all, Hope you are doing well. Today is Sunday and I went out to buy some things and run quick errands. I met a friend for a short while because I needed to take something from her so in the end, we thought why not we just do errands and grocery shopping together :)  It was so lovely to see her. It felt super sunny and hot today, I have not been out in 9 days so it felt a little odd going in the sunshine again and drive. I was hoping I would not forget how to drive ;) hehe joking. I posted in instastory a few days ago and asked for questions or blog topics suggestion and someone mentioned 'my view on Vivy Yusof backlash'. Lately I have been posting more on my close friends list because I have been at home so some of the sharings are too personal to share with everybody. I just added the few names that came up to my mind and the suggestions that IG gave me. Please forgive me if I forgot to add in your name but mostly  my audience there are ladies and I post a lot of fem...

How to Be Productive When Working from Home

Dear all, It has been two weeks now working from home - 16 days to be exact for me and I feel that time has passed by so fast. I have been so busy and it has been faster than I thought it would be. I am working from home now and I am starting to like it especially after I setup my work station two weekends ago, so starting from 23 March, I was really enjoying work from home. Before that I was only using laptop and my home work desk was full of things so I missed my big L-shaped desk at the office. On the 22nd March, I had a spring cleaning in my room and it made a huge difference to the ambience and overall productivity. So rule #1, setup your work station the way you like it. You do not need to spend a lot of money but with what you have, make the best of it. Two years ago when I moved to this island for work, my dad and sister helped me design my room. We got a proper study table and office chair (with cushion seating and wheels) but I rarely use it. I would go to the office or spe...

Reflection on the Covid-19: Working From Home #movementcontrolorder #MCO #RMO

Dear all, I hope you are doing ok. I am not going to say hope you are doing good - because this is not the time that normal people are doing good or great. The reality is that it is bad out there - people are dying and getting ill, it is spreading and things out there are not OK. Hence, why we are in the Restricted Movement Order or Movement Control Order. I like the RMO term because it reminds me of some geophysical things I do in my office work. Yes, I am working from home now and I have to say, I find that I am pretty productive at home. One of my lovely girlfriends commented on my IG story, well not really commented - she sent me a  nice long message to wish me well and hope everything is OK. She also asked if I could give tips on how I become productive while working at home or at least I try to. The entire week this week, I have worked a lot, had lots of meetings and good discussions until about 7pm or so sometimes. Today, I was the least productive of the week - I went g...

Makeup Tips - What to Know Before You Start Wearing Makeup

Dear all, I hope you are having a good, relaxing weekend & staying indoors as much as possible. My prayers are with all those people affected by this global pandemic. I do not intend to mention anything regarding the topic because there is so much coverage on the news and it may cause negative emotions so yeah. I just wanted to make sure everyone is doing ok and that if somebody affected is reading this, sending love to you. People out there are showing their true colours. There is not only racism going on - there are extreme discrimination and mere judgement upon others. You see immediately the people with wisdom and knowledge and are able to differentiate with those who are not. Anyhow, this weekend I spent the longest time indoors in a long time. I am usually super productive or try to be hehe and always moving around here and there but this weekend was slightly different - it was quieter and more relaxing. To my surprise, I did not know that I had not had a super relaxing weeke...

Happy 2020

Dear all, I just finished replying to some comments. Thank you so much to my loyal blog readers for your constant support and motivational words. You really make my day with all the kind words and warmth whenever I read the comments. I may not know you but I feel the online connection. I know some people have started following me on Instagram. Lately, I have been more careful about who I approve as friends. There has been so many instances on FB and now on IG where random men are messaging me and trying to GTKY. I am not interested thank you. I only approve if I know the person instantly when I see the profile. Can you believe it now even on LinkedIn -.- Constant messages- how are you, happy new year and so on.  There are also increasing advertisements on my blog and in the comments. I try my best to reply and I really apologise if I missed anyone's questions or comments, really my bad. Back to business, happy new year 2020! Lots of love, warmth and happiness your way. May it b...

Life Updates: November 2019

Dear blog, I clicked open and was like oh no, nervously checking when was my last blogpost and shoot 24 July 2019. Almost 4 months ago. How can time fly by so fast without me even feeling it? This year I have been extremely busy. No, busy is not even the word. I have been occupied almost every hour, minute and second with life passing by like a bullet train and I am trying my best to catch up. Now, its November and at least I can breathe a little. Good news of the year: I passed THE exams! Alhamdulillah, worked hard for everything. Priority is work for me in 2019 and this is the highlight... Bad news of the year: I lost my one and only pet hen, the dearest of my heart... I loved her so much. My bf and I always talk about her together. Losing her is really heartbreaking.. I got to know only a few weeks ago when I returned from my business trip and holidays in Europe. She passed away 5 days before my big exam and I did not know... Both the good news and bad news of 2019 happene...

Mascara Kiss Me Review : Heroine Make Volume and Curl Mascara

Image
Dear all, Hope everyone is doing great:) I am so tired but so excited to share this new product of mine; Korean brand mascara Kiss Me Heroine Make Volume and Curl Mascara. My sister got it for me yesterday when she heard that I was looking for mascara in Sephora. She surprised me before my flight back to Miri from KL. I was like oh my, so excited to receive a new makeup product. You can get it at Watson or online. I think its a Japanese or Korean brand product. I have been using Benefit Mascara fibre BadGal bang! Also, using Body Shop Super Volume mascara that I received as a birthday gift from Body Shop in January 2017, can't believe I still have not finished it. Well, to be fair I only started properly wearing mascara in 2019. So, let me tell you all about the Kiss Me Mascara, omg it is so amazing! The reason why I like Benefit Mascara BadGal is that the fibres are so good, easy to remove and waterproof, no smudges. Also, they curl and lengthen my lashes well. I do not even ...
