My Geology Class and Fieldtrips

Image
This week will be the fourth week of classes and tomorrow will be exactly one month since I've been in the UK. There has been a lot of changes and new things in this one month and now let me share with you about my first geology field trip to Leicester. Before leaving we were given several geology equipments like hand lens, our RED hard hat, a waterproof notebook and even a RSM (Royal School of Mines) water bottle :) I'm still excited of the name of my school, plus the fact that Prince Harry just visited our building a few days ago makes it more interesting. Imperial College London has many departments like for Chemistry, Computer, Medicine, Physics and the Royal School of Mines is for courses like Material, Geology, Geophysics and related courses. My building is right next to the Royal College of Music which is opposite Royal Albert Hall. Ok now everything is royal, feeling like a princess here XD Sometimes when we are having class, I can hear the students next door in the

Salam and Hi everyone :) This is like a summary of my last 2 weeks plus here minus my Geology field trip. It feels great to finally be here writing again and the last post was like 1 month? omg I was super duper busy I barely realised that. My lappie suddenly needs fixing I haven't made a skype account yet, been video calling using Line :) So you guys in Malaysia who are not asleep yet after 1 am, please buzz me because over in UK its 7 hours behind Malaysia so if its night there, its only 3pm here and classes still not ended.  Now its one week that my mum, sister and brother left to Malaysia and Alhamdulillah all is good. I'm actually really enjoying Geology and my class although I'm still new to it, the Earth just fascinates me hehe. I'll show you pictures of my first field trip. Today I went for Dance Trial Class with my friend who is just staying a few rooms away from me. Yesterday we made Mac and Cheese and today she made cheese puffs for us- cheesy days ;)

First I want to say thank you to my mum. If not for her, this event would not be happening and as smooth and well-planned as we wanted it to be. A few months ago, she booked the hall near my grandma's house, near to a mosque so the mosque people can easily come by for the prayers. She booked the food caterers, candy stall with a chocolate fountain, sate! and also ice cream. Thank you to all my family members (especially nenek, nek yah and nek gal) who made the extra kuih, Pak Ngah Aman who brought the P.A. system and karaoke, thank you adik for the balloon decos, my <3 for being my special photographer, for every single person who made the effort and time to help and come by. Glad you all had a good time and enjoyed the food.We never hosted an open house before so this is our first :D Let me tell you in detail about the special day. We booked the hall from 1-6 pm and estimated plus minus 150 people including the people from the mosque, all family members, neighbours, family
