M y grandpa is usually a very serious person, quiet and doesn't talk much but he really looked happy last Wednesday when we celebrated his 82th birthday. He wore his new top when we went out for dinner and he enjoyed cutting the cake and Erfan sang so loud at the restaurant :P  Grandpa even posed at the camera :) He was a student of Victoria Institution 69 years ago, then he worked in the Ministry Department, one of the respected high officers- which explains why he is always slow, steady and formal. People at work would be very careful around him, mum used to say but he's really cool with us. He used to have this epic hairstyle where he would never forget to put cream on his hair so it would remain that style. He even told me of the Japanese days when he went to school and worked at the same time.  Wow amazing atuk! Science is challenging in general but taking up ALL the science subjects is a real challenge indeed! Incredible Somebody asked me : How do you study the sciences? Different people have different abililities. Some people are the reading type so they do good in Biology, some are good in imagination and application so they excel in Physics. The approach to Physics, Chemistry and Biology are completely different so how do you manage to study all 3 effectively? Ok to be honest I would say that Physics was giving me a lot of hassle during my SPM days. I even took extra classes near my house once a week from Mr Jesu, a St John teacher so that I could improve my Physics. I got a B for Physics during Trial Exam and that really challenged me as I was aiming for A+. I was asking myself "Was it really possible to get an A+ in a subject so hard when it was difficult to even get an A?" Well the grade boundaries in my school was quite high so that says it all ; 95 above was an A

Dear all,  When exams are near you tend to be nervous whether you studied or not. You will definitely experience this feeling. It shows that you are normal and you are human. Its ok. Relax take a deep breath. I felt extremely nervous too during my SPM but thankfully with God's guidance, I managed to achieve the grades I wanted and dreamed of. This proves that you are capable of doing anything if you put your all into it without a doubt. Ignore people who tell you that you cannot achieve what you want. There's no point listening to people who try to belittle your dreams. They are wrong because they have no idea of how it feels to be YOU and you are special. You HAVE TO believe in yourself even if nobody else will. That is the only path to success. Sometimes we tend to go off board and suddenly you realise that you have been wasting the time you had. Its exam season again! With UPSR finished, PMR coming soon and SPM around the corner, I can smell exam papers in the air ;)  When we speak of studying, everyone imagines themselves sitting down on a chair, book on the table, head down and eyes fixed on the pages. Well, yes that is the typical way of studying but it doesn't always have to be like that, especially if you want to stay focus for a long time. Before you start studying, the main thing you must consider and ask yourself is   HOW DO I STAY FOCUS? If you cannot do that, then there will be less outcome no matter how much you try and force yourself. I agree that sometimes when we look at the pages and our mind is wandering elsewhere, we tend to start doodling, sing all the latest songs on Hitz or even start dozing off.  Nevertheless, whenever I decide to study I will make sure I am NOT sleepy or hungry because I will not be very happy to suddenly realise that I was asleep while studying.That is a real turn off for

This is my cappuccino of the day! It was so hard to drink this because it is so pretty so I took a picture first before drinking it. If you want to try, you get it in Sakura Kristal Restaurant.   Steps To Make Designs In Coffee 1.Pour enough cold milk (34ºF or 1ºC) for one cup into the steam pitcher. 2. Put the steam wand at the bottom of the pitcher. Turn on the steam, and slowly raise the wand until it is near the top of the milk. Lower the pitcher as the milk rises so the steam wand stays 1 cm away from the top of the milk. The milk should not stretch too much nor should there be any big bubbles. This should create a smooth, velvety milk as opposed to the foam that sits atop most espresso drinks. 3.Allow the milk to reach 80 ºF (27 ºC). Then place the steam wand on the side of the pitcher, deep into the milk, positioning the pitcher to spin counterclockwise. Keep doing this motion until the milk heats to 150 ºF to 160 ºF (65 ºC to 70 ºC). 4. Shut the stea
