Holiday At Cameron Highlands

Image
This is one of those random trips where you plan at the last minute and suddenly you're there! Its been awhile since I went for a trip anywhere and my first time going to Cameron Highlands too. I always hoped to go here as I heard many delightful remarks on how peaceful and tranquil the place makes you feel and now that I've gone there, I have to agree. Before I went there, I imagined it to be a small place, hilly and strawberries here and there. I realised that its actually a big town with lots of people who actually lived there for generations. The First Day My parents didn't want to drive there as we were unfamiliar with the road and all so we got Mr Sam to take us there and fetch us back. We left home at  930am, stopped at Tapah R&R at 1pm and reached the hotel around 230pm. We stayed at Century Pine Resort. The first thing i saw when I entered was the remarkable chandelier above me, sparkling with beauty. We checked in and got 2 rooms; 1 for my paren...

For Mama on Mother's Day

Image
My chidlhood days seem far away. I feel like I was in a different world at that time. One reason may be because i was raised i a different country.  As a child, I only had 1 sister. Some of you may have many sisters and brothers but since I only have one, it makes the bond stronger. The picture above was taken when I was 7 and my sister, 6. People say that I act and look like my mum when she was my age except that she was taller and thinner. I have her picture when she was young but i don't think she'll let me post it here.  *She reads my blog you know hehe I remember how my mum loved to dress us in matching dresses that people we met at shopping malls and stores used to say " Lovely twins you got there." I remember how we used to call her in the toilet when we were done.. . I remember how she used to give us bubble baths and let us choose different shampoos with cartoons on it. I remember the cute toothbrush she got for us when we started learning to br...

How Plain Guys Get Pretty Girls

Image
Ever liked a pretty girl and felt that she would never want you as her boyfriend? Ever liked a cool and popular chic and thought that she would never pay attention or even realise your existence?  Hmm, I have to say that you may be wrong.   Sometimes when you walk in a shopping mall, you realise the couples walking around. The girl can be smoking hot and the guy looks ok- no comment.  In the mind of girls, they can love someone even he is ugly or plain as long as he cares and loves her with all his heart, responsible, understanding and a good listener.  When a girl looks for a  boyfriend a.k.a. future husband , here’s what she looks for:  ( take note that appearance is not number 1) 1. Accepts her for who and how she is and shows deep interest in wanting her 2. Responsible financially $$$ 3. Good-looking   *.* 4. Educated   A.A 5. Good family background  6. Faithful in God But most of the times, the guy does NOT ful...

Eric Erfan- Malaysia's Next Cristiano Ronaldo

Image
If there's one thing I fail to understand is why do guys love football so much. My brother, Erfan, 5 years old tell everyone that he is going to be a football player one day.He begged my mom to register him with Ampang Football Club for small boys- UKRC which stands for Ulu Kelang Recreation Club. They have matches with Singapore Football Clubs, Ombak FC and many more. For big boys, they even have field trips to other states and other countries. Erfan wakes up very early in weekday mornings to play football. He never misses even one day so far unless we have somewhere to go or important events like the wedding last week. One morning, he wasn't feeling well so my mum didn't wake him up. He awoke by himself at 8am ( training starts at 830am) and started crying. He asked my mom " Don't you love me anymore? If you do, take me for football now." I was so amused by this statement because it shows that football means a lot to him. My ...
