My A-level Results

Image
I was in the middle of writing this a few days ago, my brother suddenly came to my room and asked me to take him to the playground. He begged continuously and wouldn't allow me to even finish this blog post. Now I am continuing my writing. Hmm, now I'm sure you guys were waiting for me to post my results and since I said that I would, guess I gotta keep my promise! MY EDEXCEL A-LEVEL RESULTS  are: BIOLOGY  A 499/600 CHEMISTRY  A 532/600 PHYSICS   A 507/600 MATHEMATICS  A* 558/600 Syukur Alhamdulillah I made the entry requirement to Imperial College London. I guess when I was taking the examination I was focusing more on making the entry requirement since I obtained the offer before the exams and I already knew what was required. They stated in the offer letter that they only look at the 3 best subjects.  For A-levels the paper that I would consider the hardest would be Unit 4 and 5. Be careful of these two! For example my Chemistry was

Ice Skating at Sunway Pyramid

Image
This is what I did on day before results. After this, Rai and I went shopping around Sunway Pyramid. At first I was so fatigued due to girl-pain so we sat down and had pretzels and she had this Japanese dessert.  But the moment I finished shopping and paid for my matching top and pants, her reaction was "And I thought somebody was in so much pain earlier." Ahem ahem hahaha the things I saw and the good price made me forget about the pain temporarily O:) Luckily my sister was having her weekly skating session so she helped my friends and I skate by holding our hands before letting it go. Imani told me "Don't let go of my hand." So when she fell I fell too aaaaa Falling was fun and wet actually ;)

Mental Preparation on the Day to Face Exam Results

In response to:    fazlinaZahran: salam, hey sis, spm result is coming soon! Please write about the day to face the result. Maybe some tips will be helpful. Thx Dear SPM students, STPM students and all of you who are about to receive your exam results.  A few months ago I was busy giving you all tips and responding to questions and now The Day of Truth is about to arrive. Some people debate on whether exam day or result day is more nerve-wrecking? What do you think? Are you more afraid sitting for exams or getting the results. I would say that both has its own kind of fear. Sitting for exams is fear of not being able to answer while result day is fear of disappointment of not meeting expected grades. Whatever it is, I do not want any of you to feel scared, afraid, disappointed, or any other negative feelings. Remember that you have tried your best and that's the most important thing. You have given your all and you have tried and put in a lot of effort in preparing

The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale

Image
This is my very first time going to The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale. This year it was held at The Mines Shopping Centre from 28 Feb- 4th March. I bought 9 books for RM52 !!! . We reached at around 11 am and left at 2 pm.  Even in 3 hours, you couldn't go through all the books, there are so many sections to over. We went to the : Fiction section Teenage novels -Guess what I saw?! My all-time favourite House of Night Series sold at RM5 each when I bought every single series (now there is until Book 10 but I don't have the last one yet) for at least RM29 ! Omg I almost fainted when I saw those series because we were almost gonna leave but I just felt like lingering around to make sure i didn't miss out anything important. I got an Alyson Noel novel at RM5 called "Shadowland". I just bought one at RM37 so I got a RM32 discount for this one. O.M.G My friend Sherrie introduced the series to me when she gave the first book "Evermore" to me fo

Photoshoot With Adam

Image
Exactly one day after her birthday last week, Adam called her for a photoshoot. Way to go! I don't usually follow her, just like the one with Yuna but since she insisted and I'm on break now, I was so happy to go. There are about 100+ photos but I only selected 2. The rest shall be for commercial use only. It was pretty fun and Adam was so nice and welcoming. We went to this studio and met the photographer a.k.a. the Producer. He's the one with the blue shirt.  That's my black dress. We're just 1 year apart so we often exchange and share clothes and even shoes until a few years ago when she started wearing shoes that are 2 sizes larger than mine. After that we couldn't share shoes anymore  ;) I was my sister's stylist. and I changed her dressing style for each category of photoshoot. Now I gotta say 'lucky I was there'. After the photography session, the Producer asked me to join them and took my picture too. I felt

Grandma's Reunion

Image
Imagine yourself working at the same place from the age of 16 till you were 48. Think of the love, friendship and the strong relationship you built with people. I was just in high school for a couple of years and in college for 18 months and even in that short period of time, some people I met have a large impact on my life. I tried to imagine being in 1 place for that long. One word. Incredible My Grandma's birthday was late February but my mum decided to make a special reunion party for her last Saturday. She didn't expect anything when my mum asked for her old phone book. At home, she dialed my grandma's old office mated at Mansfield Travelling Agency which is now closed. She worked there for almost 40 years. The first and last work place of her life. My mum called Auntie Sally, Shirley, Betty, Ong, and Aunt Sugar. Her name is actually Tong but during their younger days they called her sugar as 'tong' means sugar in Chinese. It felt so nice being there
